This document amends the Designations of Officers and Delegations of Authority by the Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act and the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations Document signed on , and subsequently amended, as per the attached Schedule for the purpose of items 201.1 and 201.2

This document comes into force on the date on which it is signed.

Designated authority – Specify whether the services provided at a port of entry include:

  • the collection of biometric information, and the reception of:
    • a permanent resident visa presented by a foreign national;
    • an application for an extension of an authorization to remain in Canada as a temporary resident;
    • an application for the restoration of temporary resident status;
    • an application for a work permit;
    • an application for the renewal of a work permit;
    • an application for a study permit; and
    • an application for the renewal of a study permit.
