Amendment to the Designations of Officers and Delegations of Authority by the Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act and the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations

Delegated authority – Form an opinion that a report regarding a foreign national for inadmissibilities under sections other than 34(1), 35(1), 35.1(1) or 37(1) of the Act is well founded; refer the report to the Immigration Division; make the prescribed removal order under section 228 of the Regulations.

This authority shall not be exercised in relation to holders of a valid Temporary Resident Permit (TRP).
