Planning an event in Canada involving participants from abroad? The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) can help you and your participants prepare ahead for a smoother experience at the border.

We will help you understand the requirements for bringing commercial goods for your event and for participants entering Canada.

We offer advice for these types of events:

• International events (conferences, conventions, trade shows, sporting competitions, meetings, exhibitions)
• Artistic performances, concerts and festivals
• Scientific, exploratory or adventure expeditions

Note: Please note that final decision regarding admissibility always rests with the border services officers upon arrival at a port of entry.
