Customs Notice 23-15: Highway Sufferance Warehouse Closure (Halton Hills, Ontario)

Halton Hills, Ontario, March 1, 2023

1. The purpose of this notice is to advise that:

1. effective March 1, 2023 the company located at 34 Armstrong Avenue, Halton Hills, Ontario has surrendered their "BW" type highway sufferance warehouse license.
2. the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has decided not to advertise for a new highway sufferance warehouse at this port.

2. As such, effective March 1, 2023 all bonded highway carriers transporting commercial freight for clearance at Halton Hills, Ontario, port of entry will have to declare at another highway sufferance warehouse.
