Customs Notice 23-24: Highway Sufferance Warehouse Closure (Granby, Quebec)

1. The purpose of this notice is to advise that:

1. effective April 1st, 2023 the company located at 250 rue St-Urbain, Granby, QC has surrendered their "BW" type highway sufferance warehouse licence.
2. the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has decided not to advertise for a new highway sufferance warehouse at this port.

2. As such, effective April 1st, 2023 all bonded highway carriers transporting commercial freight for clearance at Granby, QC, port of entry will have to declare at another highway sufferance warehouse.
