Faces of the CBSA: Jesse Fleming, Regional Program Officer

Jesse Fleming works as a Regional Program Officer, at the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), and has been at the Agency for more than 10 years.

He has had the pleasure of working in both the front-line operations and the corporate side of the Agency – both are rewarding as the other. He describes the Agency has a plethora of exciting career opportunities to explore, no matter the educational background. He feels fortunate thus far in his career with the CBSA and looks forward to what the future holds.

Jesse: What motivates me to come to work each and every day is the honour and privilege of serving Canadians on a daily basis, and the opportunity to effect change.

For as long as I could remember, I’ve always wanted to become a Federal Public Servant in the Government of Canada, and I’m here to let you know that the Canada Border Services Agency is an employer of choice that you should seriously consider.

The CBSA welcomes people with all types of different education backgrounds which creates a diverse workforce.
