Hi, my name is SBSO Nessari and I'm a Student Border Services Officer at Vancouver International Airport.

Today I'm scheduled to work from 6 to 4, and this is what I typically do on a day at work.

As a student, I can be scheduled to work at the primary inspection line or at the exit of the customs hall.

Regardless of which position I work at for the day, our duties are still very similar.

Our job is to work alongside Border Services Officers to process travelers and control the flow of goods and people entering Canada.

As someone who's been working here for many years now, I can confidently say this is one of the most unique and amazing experiences I've ever had. I urge students to apply for this position because it's a once in a lifetime opportunity that will give you hands-on experience on what it takes to work in law enforcement.
