Customs Notice 24-34: Single Window - Participating Government Departments and Agencies - Release Service Options

1. The Canada Border Services Agency decommissioned the legacy Other Government Department (OGD) release service options OGD PARS (SO463) and OGD RMD (SO471) on .

2. On , the ACROSS Service Options (SO) 257 (EDI RMD) and 117 (Paper PARS) were decommissioned and will no longer be in service.

3. The chart below outlines the release service options that will be available for clients to obtain release on goods that are regulated by Participating Government Departments and Agencies:

  • Transport Canada (Vehicles)

Note: During a system outage or for those entries that cannot be submitted using the SWI IID (e.g. more than 999 lines) then the following service options may be used:

PAPER RMD (SO174)

Notes: If the SWI IID (SO911) is being utilized all required data elements must be submitted for all regulated commodities regardless of which PGA regulates the goods.
