On October 22, 2012, the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) made a final determination of dumping, pursuant to paragraph 41(1)(a) of the Special Import Measures Act (SIMA), in respect of liquid dielectric transformers having a top power handling capacity equal to or exceeding 60,000 kilovolt amperes (60 megavolt amperes), whether assembled or unassembled, complete or incomplete, originating in or exported from the Republic of Korea.

The Canadian International Trade Tribunal is continuing its inquiry into the question of injury to the domestic industry and will make an order or finding by November 20, 2012. Provisional duties will continue to apply until this date.
