Notice of Scope Ruling

Ottawa, November 23, 2018

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), pursuant to subsection 66(1) of the Special Import Measures Act, made a scope ruling with respect to the goods that were the subject of the application, namely Woodfibre LNG Limited’s (Woodfibre) LNG modules including pipe rack modules.

On the basis of the information on the administrative record; consideration of the relevant factors contained in section 54.6 of the SIMR and any other relevant factors, the CBSA made a scope ruling pursuant to subsection 66(1) of SIMA that the FISC portion of Woodfibre’s LNG modules including pipe rack modules, are subject to the Canadian International Trade Tribunal’s finding issued on May 25, 2017, in Inquiry No. NQ-2016-004.
